We recently acquired Norqain, a brand of Swiss-made watches with a unique design, of which our Trieste store will be the exclusive retailer for Friuli Venezia Giulia.
From the 30th of September until the 8th of October, Norqain will be one of the brands showcased at our stand at the Barcolana55 in Piazza Unità d’Italia in Trieste.
Founded in 2018 in the heart of Switzerland, it is an independent brand that represents excellence and environmental sustainability.
Made with 100% animal-cruelty free materials, its watches are designed for those who love living outdoors, want innovative timepieces and seek a distinctive design. The fundamental values of the brand – Independence, Freedom and Adventure – are also the names of its three precious collections equipped exclusively with automatic mechanical movements.
By combining two of its best-selling models – The Wild ONE and Independence Skeleton – and adding pops of colour, Norqain has recently created a haute horlogerie timepiece that boasts cutting-edge innovation and a strikingly unique design: the Wild ONE Skeleton.
With its eye-catching turquoise and burgundy versions (the latter is a limited edition), this
new watch evokes the vibes of a holiday among crystal clear blue waters and breathtaking sunsets. The NN08S skeleton movement is the same as the popular Independence Skeleton and is based on the architectural principles of beam construction: each support point is held by at least two arms. This makes the movement more robust and durable than the traditional construction.
Thanks to the skeletonised movement, each watch weighs just 78 grams, less than half of a stainless steel NORQAIN watch and six grams less than the current 84-gram Wild ONE models.
Norqain watches are made with the brand’s patented Norteq material, ultra-robust and ultra-light, the result of a close collaboration between the company, Jean-Claude Biver and BIWI SA.
This high-performance material has a striking marble effect. The Norteq carbon fiber composite offers the perfect balance of density, elasticity and strength for excellent shock absorption.
During Barcolana55, in our stand, Norqain will present its new WILD ONE Skeleton, while on 6 and 7 October it will unveil the entire new collection.
Wilds One Skeleton In Brilliant Turquoise
With its turquoise rubber shock absorber case and matching strap, this Wild ONE stands out for its bright color. It has a revolutionary case design that was built to withstand the shocks and movements of high-performance sports while boasting an intriguing design. As with its predecessors, this watch has shock absorber rubber protection that surrounds the titanium case containing the skeletonised NN08S movement. Surrounding the rubber protection is a black case made from the patented Norteq material.
The turquoise coloured shock absorber rubber protection badge is also found on the exposed black dial.
The skeletonised indices, the hour hand and the minute hand have turquoise Superluminova X1 while the central seconds hand has a tip filled with white Superluminova X1 with a turquoise outline. The screw-down crown is overmoulded with black rubber. The watch is available with an integrated 100% animal cruelty free turquoise rubber strap with a black edge.
The Wild ONE Skeleton Turquoise is sold combined with a special turquoise Norqain cap, complete with the brand logo stitched in black on the front.
Wild One Skeleton Limited Edition In Burgundy
This version has a darker, dreamier color inspired by the light of a summer sunset. The Wild ONE Skeleton Burgundy is limited to 300 pieces, it comes with a burgundy Norteq case and a black rubber shock absorber protector.
The skeletonised movement is housed in a sandblasted titanium case. The exposed black dial features red gold-plated indexes and hands equipped with white X1 Superluminova. The transparent caseback is engraved with “LIMITED EDITION – ONE OF 300”. An integrated 100% animal cruelty black rubber strap free complete this Wild ONE.
